Sylvia Cifelli, DPT is a physical therapist licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy as of October 2005.  She attended Quinnipiac University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science in 2004 and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2005.  After obtaining her license, she decided to further her education and received her Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2009. 
     Dr. Cifelli has gained extensive clinical experience in patient care.  Past work experience includes the Spine Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, and the Outpatient Orthopedic Department at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in West Orange, NJ.  Dr. Cifelli specializes in the orthopedic, post-surgical and geriatric rehabilitation.  She is also fluent in Spanish. 
     In order to keep up-to-date on current treatment techniques, Dr. Cifelli attends continuing education courses on a yearly basis.  Assessment and Treatment of Shoulder Disorders, Rotator Cuff Syndrome, Joint Mobilization, Manual Approach to Back Stabilization, and Manual treatment of the Lumbar Complex are among some of the courses she has taken to enhance her clinical skills.  She has also obtained additional training in the McKenzie and Mulligan treatment methods for neck and back pain.

Theresa Cifelli, PT

     Theresa Cifelli, PT is a graduate of the New York University Physical Therapy program and is licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy.  Theresa has been practicing physical therapy since 1983 and specializes in the evaluation, treatment and management of musculoskeletal pain.   
     Through years of practice, she has obtained extensive experience in manual skills, including spinal and peripheral joint mobilization, total motion release techniques, McKenzie approach to spinal problems.
      Theresa is bilingual in english and spanish, and enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including athletes.  She is passionate and enthusiastic about helping others achieve their goals and return to a healthy, active lifestyle.
     Theresa is committed to furthering her education and clinical skills and attends continuing education seminars, workshops and conferences numerous times each year. 

     Heather Heaney, DPT is a physical therapist and has been licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy since 1998. Heather received a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and then went on to complete her Doctor of Physcal Therapy degree at Slippery Rock University.
     Dr. Heaney has gained experienced in various areas during her years of work, however outpatient rehab including post-op care remains her favorite. 
     Heather is dedicated to further her learning and has taken extensive continuing education courses. She has furthered her knowledge with McKenzie courses, manual mobilizations/treatments, and Myofascial Release Techniques. Heather is an avid runner and has taken numerous courses focusing on gait and running injuries.
