Heather Heaney, DPT
Heather Heaney, DPT is a physical therapist and has been licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy since 1998. Heather received a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and then went on to complete her Doctor of Physcal Therapy degree at Slippery Rock University.
Dr. Heaney has gained experienced in various areas during her years of work, however outpatient rehab including post-op care remains her favorite. Heather is dedicated to further her learning and has taken extensive continuing education courses. She has furthered her knowledge with McKenzie courses, manual mobilizations/treatments, and Myofascial Release Techniques. Heather is an avid runner and has taken numerous courses focusing on gait and running injuries.
Kelly Tripi, DPT
Kelly Tripi, DPT is a physical therapist and has been licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy since April 2002. She received her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in January 2002. After practicing for several years, Kelly attended Regis University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009.
Dr. Tripi has gained extensive clinical experience in the areas of pediatrics, geriatrics, neurological, post-surgical, and orthopedic physical therapy. She continues to further her knowledge with continuing education courses focusing on numerous manual therapy treatments, ART (Active release technique), joint mobilizations, therapeutic exercise, McKenzie treatment techniques and myofacial release techniques.
Marissa Rusin, DPT
Marissa Rusin, DPT is a graduate from Springfield College, MA where she received both her undergraduate degree as well as her doctorate in 2013. She is licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy and continues to enhance her learning through multiple continuing education courses.
Dr. Rusin has experience with neurological, pediatric, geriatric and orthopedic populations, with primary focus on musculoskeletal impairments. She utilizes a variety of manual techniques including spinal and peripheral joint mobilizations, myofascial release, active-release technique, and McKenzie Method to enhance recovery and promote optimal return to function. As a collegiate-level gymnast, Dr. Rusin has a deep understanding of advanced integral exercise training and is passionate about maximizing sports-related performance.
Nina Tufano, DPT
Nina Tufano is a licensed physical therapist who graduated from the University of Scranton Masters of Physical Therapy program in 2007. She later earned a doctorate degree from the University of Scranton in 2012 and has worked in hospital and outpatient based orthopedic clinics as well as acute rehabilitation and inpatient care hospitals.
Nina’s clinical experience in various settings has given her the opportunity to further her knowledge in neurology, orthopedic, sports and performing arts areas of physical therapy. As a former athlete, Nina continues to be very active and takes special interest in helping patients return to their sport or recreational activity quickly and with a decreased chance of injury. She continues to enhance her clinical skills with continuing education experience and pursuance in functional exercise, joint mobilizations and soft tissue techniques.
